Twitter header and banner maker: make one from your handle
Your header is the biggest image on your profile, and most people leave it blank or grey. This Twitter banner maker turns your X handle into a 1500×500 Twitter header, also called a banner or an X header, made from what's already on your profile: your photo, your name, your bio and your counts.
It's free, with no sign-in, and nothing is posted for you. Any public account works, and you can make about 10 a day.
How this Twitter header generator works
1. Paste your handle. Type it as @name, name, or paste your profile link from x.com or twitter.com.
2. Press Make it. Orbit Cards reads your public profile once and draws three headers: Nameplate, with your name big; Spotlight, with your photo and your bio as a quote; and Stats, with your followers and posts as big numbers. Each comes in three looks: Night, Ember and Paper.
3. Download and upload. Pick the one you like, download the PNG and upload it in Edit profile on X. Every header leaves the bottom-left corner clear, where your profile photo sits. Designing your own instead? Start from a blank Twitter banner template and check the Twitter header size.
Free header or full header?
The free headers are the solo version: they're built only from your own profile. The headers in the card pack are built from your people: the faces of the people you reply to, quote and mention most, as a Mosaic, a Departures board or a crowd at a Stadium. For more of those, see X header ideas.
Every free header carries a small “Made with Orbit Cards” mark in the bottom-right corner.
Want more?
Make a header from your real orbit: every design, built from the people you actually talk with, and no mark. The card pack is $9 once. See the plans.
Questions
Is it free?
Yes. You can make headers for about 10 accounts a day without paying or signing in. An account someone already looked up today doesn't count against your 10.
Why is there a mark?
The small “Made with Orbit Cards” mark is how the free headers pay for themselves: people who see it can find the maker. Headers from the paid card pack have no mark.
What size is the header?
1500×500 pixels, the size X uses for headers. The bottom-left corner is kept clear of words, because your profile photo covers it.
Does it change my profile?
No. Orbit Cards only reads your public profile. You download the image and upload it yourself in Edit profile.
Is this banner maker for Twitter or for X?
Both. Twitter is now X, and the image is the same one in the same place, so this Twitter header banner maker works for any X profile.
